About Hard to Book

Hard to Book answers one question for the restaurants where it matters: when do the tables open? For each restaurant it gives the release rule (how many days ahead, at what time, on which platform), the deposit and cancellation terms, and the second chances: waitlists, notify lists, bar seats and walk-ins.

Where the facts come from

Every rule is read on the restaurant's own website or its page on the booking platform. Where those say nothing, a named press source is used and the entry says so. Nothing is guessed: if a restaurant does not publish a rule, the page says it is not published. Each entry shows its sources and the date it was last checked.

The countdowns

For restaurants that release tables at a fixed time every day, the pages work out the exact moment a given date opens and show it in your own time zone. Restaurants that release a whole month at once, or by season, are described in words, because their dates move.

Corrections

Restaurants change their rules without notice. If a rule here is out of date, write to [email protected] and it will be checked and fixed.
