À la carte tables are released every Thursday at 10:30 for dates up to three weeks ahead, on the DesignMyNight widget on the official site.

The rules
- Party sizes
- 1 to 7 online for à la carte; 8 to 14 by enquiry for the feasting menu (max 12 in December); private rooms for larger groups up to 60.
- Deposit
- No deposit for standard à la carte bookings; feasting groups need a £25 per head card authentication, charged only if the table is cancelled within 48 hours.
- Cancellation
- Change or cancel by replying to the confirmation email, as there is no phone line; tables are held 10 minutes past the booking time and then given to walk-ins.
- Walk-ins
- The downstairs pub and the roof terrace are walk-in only, and the restaurant also takes walk-ins when there is space.
- Waitlist
- No waiting list is run for tables.
Getting in
- Click your date in the booking widget and it tells you which Thursday that date will open.
- Reply to your confirmation email if you are running late, or the table goes to a walk-in after 10 minutes.
- Sunday lunch (12:00 to 16:00) is the roast menu only; book dinner from 16:15 for à la carte.
